2017This is one of those paintings that start out with paint put on at random; I then look for the image in the paint to unfold. This can happen fairly fast, but sometimes it takes more time- in other words, it's a process that cannot be forced.

I then try to recognize forms I see - a bit like one can imagine all kind of things when looking at the clouds. Often these paintings become fantasy-like landscapes, for which I had no plan in advance.

Circle of life
1979In this painting I aimed to depict the lifecycle of woman; because the moon is said to have influence on some rhythms of life I painted her from new to full. The painting can be hanged in various ways: on the wall in four different ways straight, and 4 diagonal- and also on the ceiling.
